Dry, rotted tire rubber

Dry or rotted rubber in a tire may cause a break in the seal. This will created an avenue for air to leak out.

A break down in the structure of the tire rubber can cause small cracks and breaks that will permit air to escape. Depending on the severity, the air may leak quickly, over the course of a night, or slowly.
