Wipers Don't Work

If the wiper control switch is defective, the driver will not be able to complete the circuit and send the electrical current to the wipers.

Wipers Immediately Turn Off

If the wipers move when the switch is activated, but return to their staring position once it is released, the switch is only completing the circuit but not holding. This will prevent the wipers from staying on when the switch is released. The switch may feel loose if it is not keeping the wipers on.
