Defective power lock solenoids

The power locks are operated by solenoids that move up or down when the button is pressed. If a solenoid is defective, it may not be able to lock or unlock a particular door.

Symptoms

Power Lock Doesn't Unlock A Door

A defect in a power lock solenoid affects only that door. If other doors are responding to the power locks(particularly the lock/unlock all button if there are buttons for individual doors), the solenoid of the malfunctioning lock may be the problem.
