Defective Gearshift Linkage

Symptoms
Manual Transmission Will Not Shift Into Gear
Defective linkage in the gearshift will prevent the driver from selecting a gear. The gearshift may feel loose, if the linkage is broken or otherwise separated from the gearshift. The gearshift may be hard to move if the linkage is binding up and preventing the movement of the gearshift.
