Traction Control
Traction control is a vehicle feature that prevents a wheel or wheels from spinning faster than the other wheels. It brakes or reduces engine power to the wheel, allowing the car to regain traction. An example would be acceleration on a gravel road. The front wheels may slip, causing them to spin faster than the rear wheels. Brakes are applied to the front wheels so they "catch" the road at the same speed as the rear wheels.
