Door lock trying to seize

The door lock involves moving parts that can seize up. If the door lock is trying to seize, it may remained locked periodically. There may be times when it works fine, or is a little sticky. This can be an early warning sign that the lock is starting to fail. If the lock becomes fully seized, it will not be able to lock or unlock the door.
