Defective Turn Signal Flasher Relay
A defective turn signal flasher relay will prevent your turn signals from blinking. It may be wise to check the turn signal bulbs, as the symptoms of a burnt bulb are similar to a defective relay.

Symptoms
Since the symptoms of a defective relay are similar to a burnt turn signal bulb, the bulbs should be checked first. If the bulbs are replaced, and the problem remains, the flasher relay may be at fault.

Turn Signal Dash Indicators Stay On
The turn signal indicators in the dashboard are also used to signal when there is a problem. If the indicators stay on or flash rapidly, it is usually a signal that a bulb is burnt out. However, if the bulbs are fine, the flasher relay may be at fault.
