Short in turn signal wiring

A defect in the turn signal wiring will interfere with the turn signal's ability to operate. The turn signal may not light up when activated, or may remain on. A defect can also alter the rate of the blinking.

Symptoms

Turn Signal Won't Light Up

If the turn signal will not light up, a defect in the wiring will prevent electric current from reaching the bulbs.

Turn Signals Don't Blink

If the turn signals are not blinking, but still light up, the current may be continuously flowing, without breaking.
