Oil pump worn

A worn oil pump will not be able to distribute oil through the engine efficiently. This will result in lower oil pressure and increased engine temperatures. If the oil pump fails to circulate oil, the engine can wear and be seriously damaged.

Symptoms

Oil Gauge is Always Low

With a worn oil pump, the circulation of oil will be diminished. This will produce a lower oil pressure, and cause the oil gauge to remain low.
