Oil is too thin or needs to be replaced

As oil circulates through the engine, it undergoes thermal breakdown. This can make it difficult to circulate through the engine and it will not be an as effective lubricant.

Symptoms

Oil Gauge is Always Low

If the oil gauge is always low, but the oil level is normal, the oil may be too thin. It will circulate easily, and reduce oil pressure.
