Interior lights relay is kicking in and out

An interior light relay that is kicking in and out will cause the lights to flicker. As the electrical current is broken and completed, the bulbs turn on and off. If the lights flicker when the doors are open, or the interior lights switch is activated, the relay may not be holding the circuit closed. If the lights continuously come on and off, regardless of the door or switch, the wiring may have a short circuit that is allowing pulses of electricity to bypass the relay and illuminate the lights.

Interior Lights Flicker

A flicker in the interior lighting represents an insecure connection of the circuit. The relay is periodically completing and breaking the circuit, causing the lights to flicker.
