Hole in muffler

A hole in the muffler will distort the noise dampening effect, causing a exhaust noises to be abnormally loud.

Loud Muffler

The muffler is designed to reduce the sound waves of the explosions in the engine. With a method for the sound waves to escape, the engine sounds can be more readily heard.


Rust or Corrosion Damage

Rust can contaminate the muffler and slowly eat away at the metal, leaving a hole.
