Heater Core

The heater core is the device used to transfer engine heat to the interior of the car through the heater vents. As the engine runs, the coolant and water that circulates through heats up. The liquid is passed through the heater core, and air is blown through the core into the car. The heater core is comprised of a winding tube, through which the coolant passes, and covered with panel of fins to increase the surface area through with the air passes.
