Gear Selector

The gear selector is a lever located on the steering column or between the seats that the driver uses to select gears for an automatic transmission. The options include, but are not limited to: drive, reverse, neutral, and park. The gear selector may have a button that locks it into place. This button must be pushed before the lever can be moved.
