Symptoms

Turn Signal Won't Light Up

Since the turn signal switch is the switch that activates the turn signals, a defect in it will prevent the operation of the turn signals. A defect can also prevent the turn signals from flashing.

Turn Signal Dashboard Lights Don't Work

If the turn signal dashboard lights are no longer working, the switch may not be activating the turn signals. The dashboard light is meant as an indicator to the driver that the turn signal has been activated.
