Defective distributor or timing device

A defective distributor or timing device(such as the computer) will fire the spark plugs at the wrong time. This can lead to reduced engine power and stalling.

Engine Stalls

The engine can stall if the momentum of the crankshaft is not sustained. A defective timing device will ignite the fuel at the wrong time. This will cause a reduction in engine power and can lead to stalling.
