Clutch pedal is stuck or jammed

The clutch pedal can become stuck or jammed for a variety reasons. A bent pedal can become lodged against other parts. The clutch cable may also infringe the pedal's full movement.

Causes

Broken Clutch Cable

A broken clutch cable may prevent the pedal from returning to its starting point. The cable can also bind to other parts and hold the pedal down.

Bent Pedal

The bar attached to the pedal can become bent. If this happens, when it is pressed, it can rub up against other parts and become stuck.
