Brakes

A brake or brakes refers to the system of stopping an automobile. The system involves a brake pedal, master cylinder, brake fluid, brake lines, and brake pads. The brakes slow the wheel speed of a vehicle using either disc brakes or drum brakes. A brake can be either locking or anti-lock, which refers to the type of interaction of the brake to the wheel.
